About the seminar
This week programme for cultural operators proposes a common reflection and a time of intense experiences sharing around the potential “creative strategies of sustainability” that the participants might initiate for their own centres. It is a unique opportunity for exchange, discussion and discovery of some practical examples of existing practices. It will be composed by six full-days of activities including workshops, lectures, exploring sustainable places and projects in Berlin, initiation about straw bale building, artistic expression, social interaction and more.
The seminar 2013 will be a mixture out of the “Best of 2012” programme and new challenging inputs and actions. A limited number of people who joined the seminar 2012 are welcome.
For the participants all travel and accommodation costs will be covered. There might be a small fee for food (related to the financial standards in your home country) and extra costs (upgraded hotel standard) etc.

The programme is already well prepared. However, it is still open enough to integrate some aspects that the participants are highly interested in. You will find a report about the seminar 2012 here
What is provided during the seminar ?
All the costs concerning the daily programme, trainers, visits, activities and materials are covered.
Travel costs: We will cover your moderate travel costs. For coming to Berlin, you have a lot of possibilities from all over Europe: train, plane, boat, bus, carpool, or by bike …
Accommodation: Six nights in a shared double room are provided for free in the guesthouse of the ufaFabrik. Don’t worry, the rooms are big and all have a loft, so that you will not sleep close aside to someone you don’t want to! The idea is to enjoy the familiar atmosphere of the guesthouse, to share and get to know each other better. If you desire a single room in a pension in the neighbourhood you have to pay an additional fee.
You have also the possibility to take care of your accommodation by yourself. In this case, all the costs will be on your charge.
Food: We will charge everybody a small fee related to the financial standards in the home country, based on the International List for Travel Costs Refund.
